About

Curiously photography is not my first profession. As a surgeon I spend much of my time treating patients with breast cancer. But I became interested in photography several years ago when I bought my first DSLR camera. Since then my intrigue has evolved into a true passion for this artful science.

I have always been fascinated by classic painters and their use of Chiaro-scuro contrast of light and dark; of complimentary colours and their juxtapositon of sharpness and blur.

I always imagined I would be a landscape photographer, but, my love for working with people has led to a focus on portraiture and events, such as weddings. Helping people to capture special life moments and document their celebrations is what makes my work so rewarding.

PRICING

Pricing is based on several factors such as time spent at a shoot, travel time and expected time in development of photographs. Please note that our pricing structure is comparable to the professional market but we offer a 10% reduction for all NHS, police, fire-service and armed forces personnel or families.

For example, a basic wedding package includes six hour photography service (usually from the bride leaving the preparation venue, through to the ceremony, formal photos and wedding breakfast plus speeches and cutting of the cake). We provide around 800 high quality RAW (and JPEG) files as per customer instructions - usually on a USB memory stick or disk (ar your discretion) so that you can make as many prints as you wish. Our photographs are of the highest quality and can be enlarged up to A3 size without loss of detail.

There are additional packages should you wish the photographer(s) to start earlier with bridal preparation, or to continue later through to first dance / evening receptions. Furthermore, we can cater for second shooter or video production if requested in advance. You may also wish to consider a photobooth or studio section where you and your guests can enjoy some fun pictures.
